Team Celo is in Buenos Aires next week for Devconnect, with a packed week full of great events and insightful discussions. Keep reading for where to join the team - you won’t want to miss it!
Sunday, Nov. 16
The Celo Foundation is a proud sponsor of SheFi Summit! Come by our booth and stay for incredible speakers and panels. Don’t miss Celo Foundation’s Brand Marketing and Communications Lead, Charlie Havens, join Mento Labs and more on the “Stablecoins Aren’t Sexy, Until They’re Liberating the Economy” panel at 12:32 PM.
Later, Team Celo will be lacing up and hitting the pitch for the Uniswap Cup. Show up loud and proud – kickoff is at 1 PM!
Monday, Nov. 17
The six-day Devconnect conference starts Monday! Join us at the Celo ecosystem Booth in the L2 District, where you’ll find MiniPay, Self Protocol, and Mento alongside the Celo Foundation and cLabs all week. Stop by for alpha on the latest ecosystem updates, grab exclusive swag, and discover your crypto persona.
Celo Foundation Head of Growth, Anna Kryukova, will be leading the Governance Hub throughout the entire conference, where DAO operators, researchers, and facilitators come together to deep dive into decentralized governance.
The Succinct team will be at the booth from 12–4 PM, chatting with attendees about the Jello Hardfork, the Sepolia testnet launch of OP Succinct Lite. Stop by to meet the engineers behind the major milestone bringing ZK proofs and data availability upgrades to Celo, and get your technical questions answered firsthand.
Marek Olszewski, co-founder of Celo, Self Protocol, and the CEO of cLabs, joins a roundtable at 2 PM at the Enterprise Hub with Paul Brody (EY), and other industry leaders to discuss real-world blockchain adoption, including Nightfall L3 and Self Protocol's partnership with Google Cloud.
Tuesday, Nov. 18
Tuesday begins with the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance × EY @ Devconnect Argentina event, where Marek joins the panel “Use Cases & Success Stories: Blockchain in Action.”
Celo and the Stabila Foundation are also sponsoring Stable Summit, where Marek is presenting a keynote from 2:15–2:30 PM. Celo and Stabila teams will be at the booth all summit long (Nov. 18–19).
After editions in Berlin, Nairobi, and Bangkok in 2024, Celo Gather is back and hosted by CeLatam, with support from Celo Foundation, Celo’s Regional Council, Celo Colombia, and Celo PG, in Buenos Aires! Come for a night of insightful talks, purposeful networking, and a delicious cocktail to cap it off.
Wednesday, Nov. 19
The momentum continues on day three with Celo leaders speaking across multiple stages and events.
At Stable Summit – Day 2, catch Celo Foundation DeFi Lead, Michael Kwan’s lightning talk from 12:50–12:57 PM, diving into his work driving Celo’s stablecoin-optimized DeFi ecosystem forward.
Then over at AdoptionCon, Marek sits down with L2 Beat Founder, Bartek Kiepuszewski, for a fireside chat from 2:20–2:50 PM exploring L2 security.
The day rounds out with Michael Kwan’s keynote at Universal Staking Day at 4:00 PM, sharing his work with cLabs to bring new life to stCELO & "Liquid Staking as the Foundation for Celo’s DeFi Flywheel.”
Thursday, Nov. 20
Start your morning with Cafecito with Succinct & Celo from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, a relaxed meetup for builders and ZK enthusiasts to connect over coffee.
At 11:45 AM, Celo Foundation Developer Relations Partner, Lena Hierzi leads a Celo-focused session at the Zero to Dapp Workshop, walking participants through deploying their first app on the Celo L2.
Marek takes the Devconnect Mainnet stage at 1:30 PM to present the “The Zero-Knowledge Awakens: Celo’s ZK Revolution” keynote, exploring Celo’s ZK future from Self Protocol to the Nightfall Layer-3 and OP Succinct Lite.
Marek then closes out the day at WalletCon, continuing the ZK conversations with a keynote at 2:45 PM.
Friday, Nov.21
Day five of Devconnect starts with a Dev3pack brunch with Celo and GoodDollar from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM, bringing together builders focused on financial inclusion and regenerative economies.
Friday also marks the beginning of EthGlobal Buenos Aires hackathon, where Celo Foundation Developer Relations Team is distributing $10K in bounties!
Saturday, Nov.22
You’ll still find the Celo Ecosystem Booth buzzing in the L2 District, with Anna at the Governance Hub anchoring conversations. Over at ETHGlobal, the Celo Foundation Developer Relations team will be in full force, helping builders ship their projects and staying on the ground until the final demos and winner announcements on Sunday, Nov. 23.
