Big news—last week we launched CxAI, an industry-wide initiative bringing AI-powered solutions to Celo! With 16 founding partners, including EigenLayer, Olas, Masa, Gaia, Vana, Universal Machine, and more, we’re pushing the boundaries of what’s possible at the intersection of AI and blockchain.

CxAI is all about putting AI to work for real people. We’re using Celo’s 20+ stablecoins and perpetual FX pairs to supercharge FX markets, in addition to facilitating onchain lending, rewarding creators and social engagement, and empowering developers to build the next-gen AI economy.

Since launching mainnet on Earth Day 2020, Celo has always drawn AI projects empowering humans, including GainForest which uses AI and blockchain to conserve biodiversity while rewarding Indigenous communities. 

Together, with recent progress on agent infrastructure, improved LLMs & groundbreaking agent-to-agent transactions, projects on Celo can scale for impact like never before––enhancing efficiency, expanding access, and driving meaningful impact across industries.

And we’re just getting started. CxAI is supporting hackathons, developer events, and open-source AI frameworks to keep this momentum going.
